Doug

Doug was injured when his vehicle lost control in icy conditions, suffering a severe brain injury. In addition to ongoing cognitive and frontal limitations, Doug has significant physical limitations, including severe spasticity. His brain injury rehab is discussed, with focus on the treatments of his spasticity, including the used of Baclofen pumps. Doug remains totally vocationally disabled, despite apparent cognitive strengths. He is an important example of the need for further community integration after brain injury, as his life is extremely isolated.
